We're In Second

Hello, my Squishy and not-so-squishy-but still-lovable bretherin,

Thanks to the Pikachu Pledge to Power Down (a big shout-out to everyone who signed and enjoyed a photo-op with the adorable electric mouse), we have claimed second place in the spirit points competition, which is quite an accomplishment considering POINTS ARE SCALED PER INDIVIDUAL.

Living groups have far less residents per dorm, so suppose, in a group of, say, forty people, half go to an event from the DEC to earn some spirit points. In order to earn the same number of points, OVER 200 RESIDENTS FROM MCCORMICK WOULD HAVE TO ATTEND. Crazy, huh?

That's why the five leaders in Spirit Points are all independent living groups. Except for McCormick. And it's all because you guys are awesome. :) Behold:

So...back to buisness! Though we're sitting pretty at second right now, contrary to popular belief, SECOND IS NOT BEST!!! There is no prize for runner-up and so we have to go big and go home.

SO LET'S KEEP ON EARNING SPIRIT POINTS!!!!!!!!!
